Compare · Zapier
A Zapier alternative where AI does the work and you approve it.
Zapier is the widest bridge between apps there is. SynapseOrch is built for work where AI does the thinking in each step: it runs the path you approved, asks you before anything goes out, and never bills past your plan.

Honestly
Which one is right for you?
Choose Zapier if
- Your automations are mostly simple hand-offs between apps, and you need the long tail of 9,000+ of them.
- You want the most widely used tool, with SOC 2 Type II and enterprise controls today.
- Simple steps such as filters, formatting and paths cost nothing on Zapier.
Choose SynapseOrch if
- AI does the real work in each step, and every step can use a different model, ours or yours.
- Approvals can be answered from the chat thread you’re already in, on every plan.
- The plan stops at its limit by default: there is no overage to remember to switch off.
- A step costs one credit whichever model it uses; model use is separate, on your own key or from a prepaid balance.
- It is open source, so the engine under your workflows can never be taken away.
