Pull request review

Review a pull request against your standards and its CI, merge the clean ones, and ask a person about the rest.

The workflow

What it solves, and how it runs.

The problem

Autonomous coding agents wander: they read forty files, rewrite things nobody asked about, and bill for it. A fixed path reviews what changed, decides, and stops.

Why a fixed path matters here

The path is fixed, so every pull request gets the same review passes, and what it costs follows the path.

How it runs

  1. 1A person, the API or a GitHub Action starts the run with the repository and the pull request’s number
  2. 2The diff and the CI status are read in parallel
  3. 3A review step scores the change against your standards
  4. 4Clean changes merge, blocking issues get the review posted, and anything borderline waits for a person
  5. 5The run’s answer says what happened

Run it

On our cloud, or on your servers.

On SynapseOrch Cloud

The closest template:

  • Pull request digestOpen PRs across a repository: what each does, what is stale, who is blocked.

Or describe this workflow to Build with AI, and approve the plan it drafts.

On your own servers

code-review-and-pull-requests.bundle.json holds the agents and the workflow together. Import it from Settings → Import / Export in a self-hosted install, add your own connections, and run it.

It needs

  • A GitHub token, for the GitHub server the file brings with it
  • A model for the agents, from any provider you set up

Two ways to run it

Let us run it, with nothing to install and no API key needed. Or run it on your own servers, free and open source.

Free plan, no card needed.
